Hearses
Park Funeral Directors have a wide variety of well-maintained funeral cars and hearses at your disposal. We have modest estate cars for comfortable transit, as well as limousines allowing you to travel with friends and family. Additionally, we have traditional hearses to safely transport the coffin to the funeral. Or alternatively, we can arrange for a more specialist mode of transport such as horse-drawn carriages or a motorcycle hearse. The Funeral Procession
The funeral procession route will be discussed and agreed with you in advance. We will accommodate your requests as much as possible, including collecting mourners or travelling past places that bear sentiment. Alternatively, we can opt for a more direct travel route. Commonly, upon arrival, the procession will be led by our funeral director, on foot, flanked by your chosen vehicles.
Limousines
Typically black, limousines offer a dignified, as well as spacious, mode of transit for up to seven mourners. Our fleet consists of immaculate Mercedes Benz limos which are recognised as some of the best examples in the area. You can choose one or several limousines to accompany the hearse. Traditional Hearses
Park Funeral Directors have a number of impeccably maintained, black, traditional hearses to transport the deceased to the funeral service. You can adorn the vehicle with floral tributes or messages of love or prayer, as well as belongings of poignancy to accompany the coffin. We can assist you with ordering flowers or you can create your own memorial display which we will place in the vehicle on your behalf.
Horse-Drawn Hearses
Horse-drawn hearses can be sourced on your behalf and are available in both black and white. You can select how many horses you wish to accompany the carriage and the vehicle can be decorated with drapes and flowers of your choosing. Prices vary depending on the number of equines, so please contact us directly to request a quotation.
Specialist Hearses
Specialist hearses can be sourced at an additional cost. These vehicles are often chosen to reflect the passions the deceased held, such as motorsports, classic or vintage vehicles, military-style varieties or even hearses inspired by the emergency services.
